Strangers In A Strange Land (The Adult Indigo)

Is life on this earth painful for you? Do you ever feel as if you do not belong here? Do you ever feel as if you have been hiding your real Self all your life? Do you ever have to deny your real knowing in order to “get along”? Do you ever feel as if even those closest to you do not know the real you? Do you think of yourself as a failure? Do you feel as if you never experience real joy? Do you yearn for a place that feels like “home”?

If these questions resonate within you and touch your heart and soul at their deepest place, you may be an Adult Indigo, still carrying, and suffering from the emotional wounds of childhood. For you, life on this Earth has probably been, and continues to be, confusing and difficult. Your inherent knowing is not acknowledged. Your intuitive wisdom is not honored. Your felt-sense of experience is not embraced.

Almost no one understands or appreciate you. You try and try to “go along” and to “get along”, but, in your own eyes, almost everything you do fails. The only way you have been able to exist in this world is to deny the essence of your Being. Your Light has been dimmed, and your greatness has been diminished; you feel invisible. You feel that you are cut off from your Source and your Spirit. You feel alone and lonely.

And you wonder why you feel sadness and depression. The Indigo children, who are born into Earth as pure Light channels of God, remember more and more eternal knowledge, secrets from the Other Side and hold the God-vision of a perfect world. These “old souls”, have come to embody a massive paradigm shift for our entire universe and to lead us toward ever-expanding world consciousness and a perfected world.

Because of their inherent wisdom, knowing, and vision, they often have a hard time getting along in this world that does not understand or appreciate their uniqueness and their special gifts. This great dissonance between their perfect knowing and this Earth experience causes them tremendous pain and anguish. Their parents, teachers and society as a whole misunderstand this pain. Most try to help in more traditional and conventional ways, but fail. The attempts to heal on the rational, intellectual and cognitive level, do not work. The Indigo’s pain is the existential angst and loneliness that is caused by their separation and disconnection from God; by the dissonance they feel between their knowing of what a perfected world can be, and their experience of the world as it is. Their emotional pain resides on the spiritual, energetic, soul level, and that is where their pain must be healed.

You, the Adult Indigo, at the deepest level, resonate with all the characteristics and the emotional pain of the Indigo Children. Today, more than 80% of the children being born are Indigos. The Indigos first started coming into this Earth at the rate of perhaps 5%-10% per year, right after WWII. You were one of these Indigos. And there were not many like you when you were young! During your childhood, you may have had a unique perspective on life that was probably not shared by members of your family, by classmates and friends or by teachers and coaches.

You “got it” far more swiftly than anyone else, you may have felt “out of place” and wondered what you were doing here. You may have felt constantly “out of sync” with the rest of the world. You were a visitor in a foreign land, questioning the whys of things that made no sense to you. On a spiritual, energetic level, you felt the pain of the dissonance between your knowing and your everyday reality. But, your spiritual woundings were unrecognized and unhealed, and you have carried those spiritual woundings into adulthood.

It is those unhealed spiritual woundings that are a cause of your angst and anguish; the cause of your discomfort with having to function in this world; the cause of your dissonance with being in body and being on Earth. As an early Indigo, you quickly learned that the world could not handle the full truth of who you are, the full expression of your Point of Essence. (POE) Your POE is the place where you are connected to God. Your POE is the place of your “I Am Presence”, your “GodSelf”. Your POE is the place where ego melts away, and where you are your unique ultimate Self. Your POE is the truth of who “You” are.

As an early Indigo, you intuitively understood that if you were to survive and function in this world, you had to hide your true Essence. So, for most of your life, you have been disconnected from your “true Self”.

Perhaps if you visit the website of Ken Page you will find some help. I Have.

      • I am not the person above, but if that was true (since you say “today” and this article is from 2015) we should be assisting to the birth of an incredibly bright, peaceful generation that should be looking to get along with everyone. What I see instead is a wave of incredibly egotistic, base individuals who spend 99% of their waking time hooked to the cellphone, munching junk food and entitled to everything. They are not a smidge more advanced than the many generations that preceded them; in fact, they seem far dumber as a whole. No, indigos have always been a rarity and we still are. Sophia Gubb said she thinks we are 0.1% and I believe that number is a gross overestimation, at least where I live. By the way, I am not a person who always meets the same people. I have been a doctor for 13 years (plus the time I needed to graduate) where I would meet new people daily, sometimes 30 a day. In all that time, I met a man who must be 25 now who was clearly a crystal. Indigos, none. Rainbows, none. And I believe since indigos get sick so easily, the probabilities of meeting them would have been slanted in my favor. It would have been great if things were as you say (finally someone to hang out with!), but I’m sorry, I see absolutely no evidence.

        • Hey Haru, Nice to hear from you. To answer your question: Most us psychically gifted humans usually stay to ourselves doing our works unnoticed from public scrutiny. As am empathic Indigo I take this physical world in bite size spurts. We are here. And, we don’t enjoy being criticized by none believers. The world is changing before your very eyes. The nasties are being revealed everyday. We see it and we make changes quietly. Just because you don’t see us, doesn’t mean we are not here. This website is for people growing in their giftedness. When you are ready we will be revealed to you. Do lessons 1-28. There you might find what you need. You stay blessed

          • Thank you for your reply, Duchess.
I am already underway, I can’t say I’m psychically gifted but I can easily sense when there’s another starseed nearby. From mindset to the energy we emit, we’re as different from the common humans as apples are to bananas. Could it be all kids I meet are the 20% non-indigos because of my low vibration? Possible, but not likely. Nobody has reported a massive increase in general IQ in the last generations. And I don’t think kids keep to themselves doing psychic work–at least I showed my gifts to all who listened back then (I was fully claircognizant as a toddler).

The guide you put up is an amazing help by the way, thank you very much. I already read it whole. Thanks to it, I got to know I can permanently summon Archangel Michael, who is my current favorite spiritual being. I adore him and ask him stuff permanently. I started summoning him to protect me at night but I was so incredibly reluctant to tell him goodbye every morning. (By the way, a little note: thanks to this spiritual badass, no damn earthbound gets close to my room anymore, but they still scared the heck out of me from afar. I had to ask him, “Please don’t let them anywhere within the range of my senses”).

My energy is getting clearer little by little but I still can’t help getting angry at all the misalignments in this world and the time and energy it would take to correct them. Just this coronavirus showed how little people care for their own lives and each other. In fact, it is Archangel Michael (and other angels/guides, but he’s the one I can actively contact easily) the one who keeps my heart not fully muddied by the feelings this world inspires me.

Okay, I’m rambling now so later. Gonna post that bit of experience in its correspondent lesson too.
